Union Wins Bargaining Rights, Challenges Furlough Plan (July '09)
At the July meeting of the University of Wisconsin Board of Regents, TAUWP's statewide Vice President Nancy Turner challenged the Administration's various plans for "furloughs" for faculty and academic staff. Turner also previewed that academic staff and faculty unionists will be working to exercise our newly-gained collective bargaining rights in the near future, for the betterment of the University as a whole.
